Jeff and Kaitlyn are a wonderful couple who have been married for nine years. It makes me feel super old to say this, but Kaitlyn was one of my volleyball girls back in the day when I coached high school volleyball – and now she is a married woman who would love to be a momma! She always had a smile and a warmth about her that drew people in. Kaitlyn now works for a local therapeutic foster care home where her smile continues to be a joy to those around her. Jeff flies for a regional airline based out of Detroit. He has been involved in coaching a local Junior Varsity and Varsity soccer team. Jeff recently shared his testimony and spoke of his burden for children who need a loving family. He is excited to be a dad! Jeff and Kaitlyn will make wonderful parents and are ready to provide a loving home for a little one!

Jeff and Kaitlyn have always wanted to start a family and have felt led to adopt. A year and a half ago they began to explore adoption, and this past summer they began the long journey of domestic infant adoption. The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced even more hurdles to the already complicated process. However, their home study is now complete (yay!) and they are ready to begin actively matching with birth mothers around the US. One of the biggest hurdles in this process is cost, with the average cost being $35,000-$45,000. They are currently at the half-way mark for raising the full amount of money, and they will need to have proof of funds when they match with a birth mother. Jeff and Kaitlyn are trusting God to provide!

When I found out that this amazing couple had begun the process to adopt, I knew I wanted to help. The Little French Market is excited to partner with Jeff and Kaitlyn to help them reach their fundraising goal and help them build their family. And now YOU have the opportunity to be a part of their story as well!

To help raise funds to bring Baby Lauderbaugh home, we have decided to sell tea towels specially created for this event. Kaitlyn has a beautiful talent for hand-lettering, so when I asked if she would like to use her talent for the towels, she was all in! Each of the words on the fundraiser towels were hand-lettered by Kait and they are lovely! Tea towels are a wonderful way to add a special touch to your home and they also make great gifts. These fundraiser towels are available for a limited time only!
